Jeff Sheets has been a fixture on golf equipment's
landscape for over two decades. He entered the industry
just as technology was becoming the major focal point in golf
club design. His entry into the business, ironically enough, was
on the foundation of custom designing wooden woods for individual
golfers. However within only a few years Sheets was converting many
of golf's legendary superstars out of their persimmon drivers and into
metalwoods on the PGA and Senior PGA Tours.
It has been over 15 years since Jeff Sheets designed his first golf club.
More than 400 of his designs have been launched to the market since.
However it is in the area of custom fitting golf equipment that Jeff Sheets
Golf Design is focused. Previously as the Chief Technology Officer for
Golfsmith International Sheets had been focused on educating golf equipment
professionals and hobbiests in the art of customizing golf equpiment. His new book, The Perfect Fit, is a culmination of his many years of working with touring professionals and amateurs in pursuit of perfecting their equipment to their swings.
